I have been to a wedding and really loved the way everything was done. It was quite a lavish affair, obviously no money had been spared on anything but everything did look really fantastic. They had some marquees in the garden of the bride’s parent’s grand house, which was lovely. In the marquee where the food was served, each table was laid with a simple white cloth and wedding centerpieces which were large bunches of red peonies and they looked lovely. There was no fuss, no wedding favors, table confetti or place cards. They just had some very simple pink lights in the ceiling of the marquee and everything looked very romantic. It didn’t even need anything else and the wedding cake was very simple and made of chocolate – it was actually a shop bought cake and it did not even have any wedding cake toppers but it was extremely pretty and different and everyone thought that it looked fantastic, which was great. I would have done a similar thing for my wedding, had I had a cake, but I did not have one as I had such a small amount of guests. I had a very simple wedding and had a lovely day but I was rather jealous when I went to this one!
